Hey folks, I’ve been totally remiss in updating this blog, so let’s get a lot of stuff out of the way. I totally dropped the ball about mentioning my appearance at HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC last month (this blog got lost in the shuffle of Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr), but it was a great time, a fantastic show, and I can’t wait to do it again.

However! If you missed me there but still want to meet me in person, there are a few more chances to do so this year! Next Saturday, July 12, I will be appearing at Insta-Con in Kennett Square, PA. Insta-Con is a one-day show sponsored by the local Bayard Taylor Memorial Library and The Comic Book Shop of Wilmington, DE.

The following Saturday I will be at my favorite local comic book store, A Hero’s Legacy Comics and Collectibles of Manchester, CT. I will be signing my new book, Drawn Away: A Cartoonist Tours America, which was successfully funded via Kickstarter and made its public debut at HeroesCon. That’s right: if you haven’t gotten a chance to grab a copy, now’s your chance to get your mitts on it!

But if you can’t make it to either of these, never fear! You can now order a copy of the book in print OR digital via IndyPlanet! Check out the link on the Store page and you’ll get a copy shipped right to you! Isn’t commerce grand?

Finally, this isn’t comic related, but also next Saturday, July 12, for 45 minutes starting at 10 a.m. EST/3 p.m. GMT, I will be guesting on the Stacey’s Pop Culture Parlour 24-hour podcast for charity! Stacey is looking to raise 750 GBP for Operation Smile. It’s a great idea and a great cause, so why not give a listen sometime that day here, and then give some money here?
